Team Report 02-09-06
Andrew Reynolds has made some plans for a famous SoCal spot that he will hit up this weekend. If you’re lucky, you might just be skating it when Andrew shows up.
Heath Kirchart is driving out to Des Moines, Iowa to set-up the new location for his Subsect skate shop. Heath will be in Des Moines until the Grand Opening on February 25, when the Emerica team will do a signing and demo.
Ed Templeton is off on another European trip to promote the Beautiful Losers art show, which opens in Milan, Italy on February 17. Ed is in Spain at the moment and will be heading to Milan in a few days.
Leo Romero and Kevin “Spanky” Long sessioned the RVCA ramp this week in Costa Mesa, California. Kevin’s also been rocking out on his guitar when he’s not skating. In fact, he recently just picked up a new amp to blare some sweet licks. Leo has been working on a Thrasher interview. Both of these dudes did a couple of RVCA demos for Pharmacy Boardshop last weekend in Victorville and Palmdale, California, and they will be in Fontana for another RVCA demo at Pharmacy this Sunday.
Bryan Herman is on the final stretch of his broken leg healing, and should be out of his cast in a little over a week. Herm has been going stir crazy since he hasn’t been able to skate, but he’s already got some tricks lined up that he wants to try as soon as he’s back on his board. Shall we soon bear witness to a Texas plant down 12?
Chris Senn is flying down under this week to skate in the Global Assault contest in Melbourne, Australia this Saturday, February 11. Senn Dog is sure to earn some extra frequent flyer miles as he flies around the course.
Aaron Suski has been keeping it mellow since he got back from the Cayman Islands a little over a week ago. He’s been hanging out with friends and enjoying the nightlife that Tucson, Arizona has to offer.
Austin Stephens has been racking up a lot of footage lately with Toy Machine Filmer / Team Manager Kevin Barnett for the upcoming Toy Machine Suffer the Joy video.
Braydon Szafranski is on a skate trip down in Brazil to get some photos and footage with Baker teammate Erik Ellington and a few other friends.
Just returning from Brazil, Brandon Westgate is back in Long Beach, California, hanging out with the Birdhouse team. Brandon was down there for a contest and to film for the upcoming Birdhouse video.
Matt Allen is going to hang out at the Emerica Mansion II this weekend and go skating with Leo and Spanky. He wants to get away from the high desert for a bit.
