Ah, yes. The second issue of For Fun Zine I've ever seen (No. 9) just arrived in the mail…back at the end of October. Seems I like to let these things lay around the house to marinate and age like the very best fine wines. The flavor is so much more robust then, you know. Let's dive right in, shall we?
All the way from Fort Collins, Colorado, this issue sports a sweet front crooks on the cover courtesy of Marciel Bueno, an ad for a head shop called Higher Education that shows off some crazy-ass lookin' psychedelic pipes, a wrap-up on a local Go Skateboarding Day session (It's funny how they pegged Go Skateboarding Day as a "date created by the industry."), an article on the Edora Skatepark Challenge, a Photo Gallery, a Test Drive of a mini-sized skateboard appropriately named the Zip Zinger, an article on a bunch of video premieres for a shoe company whose name we can't be bothered to mention, a look at a Volcom's Driving Me Buts Tour stop, a profile of a 50-year old Brazilian skater Cesinha Chaves, a congratulatory note on 10 Years of 100% Skate mag, a CD review of Coice de Mula and a show review on Hightower.
All of this and more can be yours for the nice little price of FREE. Just email the publisher.
P.S. The For Fun Zine Web site is crackin', too.
