Without him Independent trucks probably wouldnt be around along with some other legendary companies who's gear you've probably skated. Those brands dont just exist in the US my man. People are able to skate certain companies gear all around the world because of him so you have to realize that skateboarding as a whole HAS LOST A LEGEND and show some respect. Peace.

There are people that are being haters at the wrong time. All his work was done so we could have better skate equipment and a magazine showing off the words best skaters, just remember he skated long before we did and made a name for himself.

I think it's kind of odd how many ppl are saying "R.I.P. good friend." i wonder how many of you actually knew him..... but either way from the impact hes had on our lives by changing the skateboarding world it seems like we all have known him. i wasnt lucky enough to ever meet him. but i owe so much to him. and that kid, "moon" is a complete idiot... you have no right to ever talk down to such a great person. but what ever, im sure you'll say another wrong thing like that to some one who will kick the shit out of you, and Fausto Vitello will be laughing his ass off.... well "R.I.P., good friend"
