About Back to the Banks
Back to the Banks is a grassroots skate contest held at the internationally famous Brooklyn Banks in New York City. Now in its second year, this annual event encourages skaters everywhere to work with their local city governments to preserve established "natural" skate spots in public spaces.
Date: Saturday, August 19, 2006 at 1:00 p.m.
Location: Under the Brooklyn Bridge in Manhattan, New York.
Format: One jam and three best trick sections on the banks, the blocks and the stairs / rail.
Booty: Thousands of dollars in cash and prizes.
Sponsors: 5boro, Emerica, Spitfire, Volcom, Skateboarder, Red Bull

Bismarck,North Dakota has really good skate spots way better then colorado, colorado sucks ass Bismarck is the skate capital of the world
no, not where i live the biggest thing is a 9-stair at a local park it takes me an an hour and a half to skate there
