2006: Wild Ride
Heath Kirchart leads Emerica's Wild Ride, 2006.
Emerica gets creative once again with the Wild Ride caravan, a first-of-its-kind 10-day motorcycle-led tour featuring the Emerica team, who invite anyone and everyone to join in the fun. The jolly jaunt roars all the way from Denver, Colorado to Chicago, Illinois, site of the third annual Wild in the Streets event in support of a skate plaza slated to be built in Millenium Park.

The Emerica team descends upon the Great Plains with a demo and signing for hordes of young Emericans during the Grand Opening of Heath Kirchart's Subsect skate shop in Urbandale, Iowa. The Stay Gold Tour of Australia, with more demos and filming missions, follows hot on Subsect's heels.

Throughout the year, the Emerica team signs and demos their asses off at skate shops all across the United States, like BC Surf & Sport, Boarders, KCDC, Active Orange, Dominion, Hotline and more.
Emerica Canada rider Dave Nolan is voted Best New Canadian Pro by the editors of SBC Skateboard Magazine.

Drew wins $1,000 for second place at Bling Fest, plus another cool $1,000 for bringing down 10 amazing tricks during Hundred Dollar Hammers. Marquis wins $2,500 for Best Trick at Active Am; and David Loy wins $5,000 and a guitar and an amp for taking first place at Active Am.
