Emerica Skate and Create Gallery

A few months ago, Emerica was invited to participate in a special artistic contest held by TransWorld Skateboarding called Skate and Create. We spent nine days in a warehouse building a skateboarding environment to represent Emerica through video and photography. The catch was we couldn't use Photoshop or any other subsequent special effects or manipulation on the video and photos. The results are pretty fucking awesome! Feast your eyes on the behind-the-scenes photos above, this video clip, and the massive 16-page Emerica spread in the October 2008 issue of TransWorld Skateboarding, featuring Kevin "Spanky" Long, Bryan Herman, Leo Romero, Braydon Szafranski and Brandon Westgate. Did anyone else think DVS's thing was unoriginal? I liked Osiris' photos and our video the most.

i agree that emerica's had a super good concept and the photos/video turned out amazing
why was Emerica's the crapiest out of them all come on emericas better than that some how OSirus comes out on top
foxxxy, to be honest, the DVS one just has sweet obstacles and crazy ish straight out of Fully Flared, their ender was basically pappalardo's ender, polljam into bank. as far as emerica is concerned, the idea was cool, but it was poorly executed. There was no full transition to mirror skating. The whole time I was hoping for some cool bouncing with the mirrors maybe some interesting manny action. It was just the poor selection of tricks. Those guys can do anything on a skateboard, if they did that, it would've been emerica hands down.
the osiris one was just kinda weird but that's what made it great. If they didn't say it was in a wearhouse I wouldn't have known.
i think that dvs won just because....well,the contest is called skate and create,and dvs is known for being all tech riders and shit so......but that pic of hermans kickflip nosegrind look rad.....i didnt like the osiris video,it seemed kinda dumb to me even tho shuriken shannon is a boss
Okay emerica is my favorite brand but the video was kinda weird it could have been better the dvs. One was dumb ass anything I think Osiris was the best so original
Rattray's Ring of Fire was the gnarliest thing you can do with an ollie, hands down.
