One Sided Mind

You hear me out right? Security guards are fagits who absolutely get in our way of skating that sweet handrail in front of the business office, right? That Mexican mowing that guys lawn is illegal so lets spit on him, right? That kid is going down the hill and his friend beat us at a game of Skate so lets chuck our boards in front of them so they'll fall and we can get a good laugh outta it, right?

Here in Emerica, we all want to be the badass. We all want to wear the right clothes, the right shoes, the right hats, we want to look good. In America, it's better to look good than feel good, Huh?

But why don't you look at it this way. You are all young adults/teens/adolescents/ and so am I. Being a 13 year old I think I see the world in a different way than many of my peers. What I see only matters to me, because its only gonna matter how I look like, and what that lady sees me wearing is good looking and cool.

Now, we all ride skateboards. We all love to skate! We all love to brave up to that security guard showing our boldness and disrespect so we can look good - to each other. What do you look like to the security guard? You look like a punk little doper skater boy with skintight pants just ready for you to be a jerk.

You are dirt to them, you are a little kid who is disrespectful to all and just want to skate. You are a tightpants wearing little flem holding a peice of wood. Now multiply yourself as a skintight wearing dirty little flem skater boy by all the teens, peers, adolescents, around the country yet alone the world.

People dont see just you as a a jerk, but they see everyone who dresses like you, listens to the same music as you, rides a board like you, and talks like as a jerk. When who knows if they arent a jerk? Who knows if I wore skintight nut-lugger jeans with a slick hairdew and a greasy forehead with a Baker board in my hand would see me as a jerk?

Stop thinking with a One Sided Mind.

What you do will mold what others think the people that are styled like you, do. Get me? If you skate a rail you werent supposed to and you go ass hole on the security gaurd, I will be an ass hole in the eyes of them. I am not an ass hole. I would never disrespect him in a way that will have you looked upon as a disrespectful boy.

Stop and think, what does he/she anyone that isnt skater think of you? Do they want to see how good you can flip a peice of wood and land standing on top of it? Do they want to see you riding down a hill in a moto suit? What are they thinking about you? What do you think of them? What you do will help or hurt the stereotype of "Skaters are jerks who are disrespectful!"

Smile every once in awhile, talk to someone that doesnt skate, dont act like an ass hole. You have nothing to prove to them, they dont want competition, they dont care whether you can land that trick. Just do your business and I'll do mine. I'll do my business and they'll mind theirs. So for me, for all the other skaters, for the people who want a little respect from you, give it to them.

Because when you're their age, you will see the same thing happening to you. Think before you do anything you will regret, and see both sides of the perspective.
