What I Don't Like About Skateboarding
PLEASE COMMENT I'D REALLY APPRECIATE IT!!
1. The shortboarding 'industry' really turned skateboarding into a fashion instead of a sport. They completely forgot that it was made for FUN not FASHION
2. I don't like those little jerks in tightpants who can't skate for s*** and think they are all that - those bastards
3. Hard wheels suck, its all about the soft goods
4. Cars are natural landsharks
5. What the hell is "pop?"
6. Haters just hate cuz they cant skate
7. Why do those little shortboarding bastards make fun of longboarders? Is cause the deck in their tightpants isnt that big?
8. Sacking rails is some tough s***. Im only on my 5th
9. Helmet haters better wear one, saved my life more than once
10. Vert is way better than street.
Now you'll probably hate me for this probably agree but for the fact i do know what pop, I do shortboard myself, and Emerica just plain rocks...........................

I agree for the most part, people say skating is a lifestyle, which makes little to no sense, it's just an activity not a religion. It's fun, that's about it.
Yeah tight pants, interesting topic. In reality thy do make sense if you skate, you want to keep the bottom of your pants away from the bottom of your shoe so you don't screw up because of something stupid like that. On the OTHER hand, that's usually not the reason why people buy tight pants, function is usually the last thing most people think of when that purchase goes through with moms credit card. In the words of Stefan Janoski "why don't you just get a top hat ? a top hat and some tighter pants. Then you don't even NEED to learn 360 flips."

You're all dumb (unless you're agreeing with this). It's just an activity. People can hate if they want, people can dress how they want. They'll just get shit for whatever they do in the end. It's just skateboarding, and people are just people, so as long as you're not into Ryan Sheckler, then you're cool.

Speed envy much, wobbles are for the weak...I skate pools, parks, ditches slalom and downhill....anything to get an adrenaline buzz. I would say it's safe to say that the skill required to ride a skateboard faster than 55mph compares to the skill required to kickflip a 20stair. The difference is other than the balls to hold a tuck at 55mph (and corner at roughly 30mph) it doesn't require much else to be able to downhill for years...kickflipping 20 stairs is going to destroy your knees even if you never miss. BTW you might wear a leotard but I wear leathers
