Wild Ride Focus, Part 7: The Pro Plague
This is part seven of the Wild Ride Focus series, where I focus on certain aspects or characters of the 2008 Wild Ride through my photos and the occasional interview.

The Pro Plague
"There's too many pros here!" the kid shouted. His friend, clearly bedazzled, scanned the room. With a bit of disappoint in his voice, he muttered, "I don't even know who they all are". A hint of recognition appeared in the kid's eyes. "There!" he exclaimed as he pointed towards one of the many figures sitting along a long table, "I know that guy!".
"He's not pro."
I don't think many skateboarding tours have this many pros together at one time. It's actually kind of crazy when they come together for signings, to have nearly the entire team together plus a bunch of friends who turned pro for other companies. Amidst the chaos lurked Kevin Long, Andrew Reynolds, Bryan Herman, Heath Kirchart, Aaron Suski, Ben Gilley, Leo Romero, Matt Ball, Braydon Szafranski, and Jerry Hsu.
Arguably the stars of the Wild Ride, they definitely need the attention they deserve. Here's a selection of photos of some of the most awesome skateboarders in the world. I already focused on Kevin earlier, so I've made some space for the others.
Wonder where Jerry's at? There's a reason for that...
Get doc'd out in Part 8!
