Team Report 04-21-08
Andrew Reynolds, Bryan Herman and Justin Figueroa will be doing an Altamont signing at the grand opening of a new Active Ride Shop store in Irvine, California this coming Saturday, April 26, 2008 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at Irvine Spectrum Center, 71 Fortune Drive, SP 69, Irvine, California.
Heath Kirchart has officially finished his part for Alien Workshop’s Mind Field video. The only thing that sucks is that he sprained his ankle at the same time. Get well soon, Heath!
Ed Templeton has been holed up in his art studio (aka the garage) working on some upcoming art shows.
Kevin “Spanky” Long has been skating around Los Angeles. He has been hitting the Supreme Bowl, which has just been set up with new pool coping. Check out the cell phone pic that Jerry Hsu shot of Spanky breaking it in.
Leo Romero has been shredding around Long Beach with his live-in filmer, Cricket. They have discovered some sweet new spots near the house.
Jerry Hsu has been driving back and forth between San Jose and Los Angeles a lot lately. He will be in L.A. this weekend doing a CCS photo shoot along with Heath Kirchart.
Braydon Szafranski was out in Las Vegas for the weekend and is back in LA working on an interview for TransWorld.
Aaron Suski is still on the mend from a shoulder surgery he had a little while ago. He’s been doing physical therapy and should be back on his board and traveling the globe in the very near future.
Chris Senn just finished the Ultimate Boarder contest, in which each contestant competes in skating, surfing and snowboarding. Now Senn Dog is skating around in San Francisco for a few days. He'll return home to Hawaii on Wednesday.
Brandon Westgate just returned home from a Zoo York trip to South Africa. He killed it, as usual, according to their Team Manager, Seamus Deegan. Westcool is busy filming two video parts--one for Zoo York and another for some outfit called Emerica. He’s a busy man, but he's going to come through with two solid video parts! Watch out.
Marquis Preston was staying in Long Beach at Leo’s house over the weekend, where he got into some skating with Leo and Justin Figueroa.
Speaking of Figgy, he just turned 18 on Sunday. He celebrated with a slice of pizza at a bar. Happy Birthday, Figgy! Now he can legally buy lottery tickets, cigs and porn. Figgy was skating in San Diego on Saturday and got some footage for Stay Gold.
Jamie Tancowny is in China right now with the Zero team. He will be killing it there until April 28, when he returns home to Canada.
