theBreax is a hip-hop group from well... i dont know, its not really clear. i think somewhere in california, but thats besides the point. The point of this post is to open your mind to good music. not the stuff that you hear on the radio. if you like that stuff, thats ok, it really is, im just saying, know whats out there. Go listen to something that isnt about money and sex. Something that your not gonna hear on the radio on the way home from work or school. Tell everyone about your new favorite artist that you really like, give that person recognition for all the joy you get from listening to them. It doesnt have to be theBreax, just someone that means something to you, tell everyone about em too, your co-workers, brothers sisters, peers, friends, fuck, even grandparents. A lot of the reasons that i have a mind set like i do is because i listen to the music i do. spoken word from great lyricists, they can be anyone. turn on some Immortal Techinique and learn a fuckload of info on why the government is corrupt. Throw on some Brother Ali, or Atmosphere, and learn about how imperfect the world is, but how great it still can be. I'll post theBreax myspace at the end incase your interested, and ask if need help on where to start if you really want to pursue some great musical talent.
