Mini-Ramp getting torn down?

It's been about a week or 2 since our mini ramp was completed and it has brought us so much joy and now one of the neighbors wants it gone. My friend received a phone call a few days ago from one of his neighbors saying how she has had it with our ramp. Apparently, she has tried to deal with it but she says she cannot stand the noise anymore and demands for it to be taken down as soon as possible. We really are not sure what to do at this point because we spent about 600 dollars on this and we built it by ourselves improvising most of the time and having that feeling of making it ourselves makes it that much more important to us, but of course some old bitch isn't going to understand how much it means to us but if you have any suggestions of how to handle the situation, please tell me.

  3. well isnt there like a noise permit. so you should try moving it to like someone elses yard or try to work out like a time scheduele as in when u could skate it or not and negotiate with herrr

  5. move it to your friends yard , i mean if she was being nice about it then there is no reason to be a bitch , or if she was being a bitch about it then just rebel , or if you have a basement you can put it there

  6. Ya there's not much you can do about a neighbor that bitches in a situation like this. You don't have anything remotely official (building permits, etc), and she didn't agree to you building it so you're gonna have to reason with her.
    Talk to her about just skating it a couple of days a week, and think about using some carpet on the underside of the ramp to damp out the noise a bit. Good luck.
